Say what is true
Including the parts that lose the job. If a certified facility is what you need, you will be told on the first call rather than sold something else.
About
Seaton Systems is a small IT disposal and data destruction business based in Leicester. It exists to do the jobs the national providers are not structured to take: the small ones, the urgent ones, and the awkward ones.
Why this exists
Most IT disposal in this country is built for volume. That is a rational way to run a logistics network, and for a two-hundred-machine refresh the national operators are the right answer. But it leaves the most common job of all, a handful of retired machines in a cupboard, with a data question attached, with nowhere sensible to go.
The result is predictable. Equipment that still has value sits until it has none. Data that should have been destroyed years ago is still sitting on a drive in a store room. And the business that owns it is still the data controller for all of it.
This business is built the other way round: small jobs first, collected quickly, documented properly, with the paperwork in your hands the same day.
Background
Including the parts that lose the job. If a certified facility is what you need, you will be told on the first call rather than sold something else.
A serial number and a method beats a reassuring sentence. Everything promised here is something you can check afterwards.
The cost, the timing and who ends up with the equipment are agreed in writing before anything is collected. In either direction.
