What this service is for.
Server and network equipment carries the densest data and the highest residual value in most estates, which makes it the worst thing to hand to a general recycler. Decommissioning is done to a documented plan, with every drive logged, removed and either sanitised or destroyed, and the rest routed to reuse rather than shredded.
